Dr. Paige Elwood, DDS



Dr. Paige Elwood is originally from Yankton and is happy to be practicing in her hometown. She attended the University of South Dakota before completing Dental School at UNMC in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has been practicing dentistry for over 14 years. Her favorite part of dentistry is treating patients of all ages. She also enjoys educating patients on how they can have a healthy, beautiful smile. Dr. Elwood is married to Ryan Elwood who also grew up in Yankton. They have 3 daughters and 1 son who keep them very busy!



Hailey Bruggeman, MPH, BSDH



Hailey Bruggeman is originally from Le Mars, Iowa but has been living in Yankton for 6 years. She attended the University of South Dakota and graduated in 2018 with her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene with a minor in Addiction Studies. She got her Master of Public Health degree in 2020. She teaches part time in the Dental Hygiene Department at USD. Her favorite part about dentistry is talking with all of her patients about their lives and their oral health. Hailey was married in September 2019 to her husband Kody Bruggeman. They have a two year old, Henry, who keeps life fun!



Shawnda Wiepen, RDA



Shawnda Wiepen is from St. Helena, Nebraska. She graduated from Lake Area Tech in 2018 where she recieved her Dental Assistant Certification. She enjoys assisting Dr. Elwood during the various procedures at the office. In her free time, she likes spending time with her husband and kids on their family farm.



Jessica Boeckman, BSDH



Jessica Boeckman is originally from Creighton, Nebraska and currently lives in Wynot, Nebraska. She graduated from The University of Nebraska Medical Center - College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2018. Her favorite part of dentistry is helping patients feel confident in their smile. In her free time she enjoys going out with friends and spending time with her fiance, Derek, and their dog Pope.



Shelby Schulte, RDA & Front Desk



Shelby Schulte grew up in small town Wynot, Nebraska. She graduated from The University of South Dakota in 2014. She received her Dental Assistant Certification from Lake Area Tech in 2019. Her favorite part of dentistry is getting to know all of her patients. She was married to her husband Eric Schulte in September 2020. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and son!



Sandy Schloss, RDA & Front Desk



Sandy Schloss is a farm girl raised in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. She graduated from Marshalltown Community College and has been a dental assistant for 48 years. Her favorite part of dentistry is visiting with all the patients she has gotten to know over the years. She and her husband "Boy Scout Barry" live at Lewis and Clark Boy Scout Camp west of Yankton. After having 3 sons - all Eagle Scouts, they now enjoy spoiling their 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson.



Jackie Potts, BSDH, MBA



Jackie and her husband, Matt, live in Yankton and have two energetic boys. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and Master of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota. Her favorite part of dental hygiene is interacting with the patients and helping them with their oral health needs. When she is not at the dental office, Jackie enjoys being outside, spending time skiing and riding bikes with her family.



Melissa Maska, BSDH



Melissa Maska is originally from Sioux Falls, SD but has been living in Yankton for 8.5 years. She attended the University of South Dakota and received a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing dental hygiene for almost 18 years! Her favorite part of dentistry is getting to know patients and their families, while helping them obtain a healthy smile. Melissa is married to Adam Maska and they have 4 children together. They enjoy staying busy with church, sports, and kids' activities.
